For the first time in Nike SB history, the tape between the midsole and the upper contains Nike Grind material, which is recycled waste (i.e., the scraps) leftover from the footwear manufacturing process.

 

Remastered and Recycled

The rubber outsole is made with at least 3% Nike Grind material. The rubber has been thinned out in key areas to feel lightweight and broken-in right out of the box.

 

Cushioned Feel

The foam insole with a Zoom Air unit in the heel provides responsive cushioning.

Nike Flyleather, made with at least 50% recycled leather fiber, combined with synthetic materials, is produced through an innovative process with a lower impact on climate change versus traditional leather manufacturing. Because it is produced on a roll, Nike Flyleather improves cutting efficiency and creates less waste than traditional cut-and-sew methods for full-grain leather.
