Q
what abec are they
A

Hello, Bones bearings are not Abec rated. They have a Skate rating (click link below for more info) which is much more relevant to skateboard/scooter bearings as it takes into account impact and other factors which the abec rating doesnt.

Q
how fast do these go?????????
A

Q
wat makes these barings so good
A

The reason is because the bearings are made of Ceramics. This means that they don't have an issue with rust, they can also be used in the rain. The Ceramics generate less friction when riding.

Q
why are these bearings good to by
A

Hi Harry,

These bearings are the upgrade from the standard Bones Reds, which on there own are one of the fastest and longest lasting bearings on the market. With these being the ceramic versions, the ball bearings inside are alot tougher, so therefore less prone to cracking and the seal for the bearing is also reinforced meaning they will be less prone to popping. So the short answer is that these bearing will put up with anything you throw at it.

Thanks,

Will

These are tidy bearings. Had they been the first set of ceramics I'd got, I probably would have fallen in love with them. Silent, clean, run on decently. However, I've been skating ceramic reds for the last year; and perhaps it's just been the luck of the drawer, but the three sets of reds I've got on the go are all smoother, quicker, and silent(er?) than the Swiss. And two of those have recently been cleaned / lubed, so I know they're not fast bc they're running dry. IDK, perhaps there's an argument that these'll last longer?! The reds seem to be doing a decent enough job there. So IDK - more pennies, lovely bearings, but I'm not yet seeing the advantage over their lower-tier reds rival.
