Please ensure that you retain all packaging in case a warranty claim is required. This will ensure your item can be safely returned.  Please note that SkateHut cannot be held responsible for any damage to items returned in non-original packaging.

In the unfortunate event that you have received an item you believe to be faulty please check the following before returning your goods.

Different products come with different warranty periods.

Here we will list the typical length of warranty periods, what is covered by this warranty and what isn’t and the procedure to follow. This list is a guideline only, for exact warranty periods please always refer to the manual.

Warranty dates start from the date of receiving your order.

Please refer to the manual provided with the item for exact warranty periods as each manufacturer is different and provides different warranty periods.

Should you have any issues when contacting the manufacturer, please fill out the warranty form and our Faults Team will do all they can to assist you.

BIKES

Please note that our bikes will always require some assembly on delivery. We do not recommend that you assemble the bike yourself. Please take the bike to a qualified bike technician (such as at a bike shop or repair shop) and ask them to assemble your new bike for you.  On completion, they will give you a build report which we ask you to keep safe in order to validate the warranty.  This is so that we can help you should the bike become faulty. Unfortunately, we will not be able to accept the bike back without this build report so please do take this into consideration.  Most bikes will come with a 1-year warranty. To activate this the bike must be built or checked over by a qualified bike mechanic. This warranty will cover unexpected failure/defect of all components/parts that aren’t attributed to normal wear and tear or crash damage.

Not covered - Any bike that has been modified in any way, buckled wheels, worn tyres, worn or broken chains etc.
