Skateboard trucks are the metal T-Shaped parts that mount onto the underside of the skateboard deck. When thinking about your trucks, the width of your truck axle should closely match the width of your deck. The truck size can be measured by the width of the hanger or the width of the axle. Every skateboard requires a pair of trucks.
Trucks consist of the following components:
AXLE: A metal rod that runs through the trucks, which you connect the wheels to.
HANGER: Often made out of metal, it's the largest of all truck parts (triangular shape).
KINGPIN: A large bolt that holds all these parts together and fits through the bushigs.
BUSHINGS: Made of rubber. They provide the flex and springiness for turning as well as making it easier to tighten and loosen the trucks.

|7.5" Truck Axle||7.25" - 7.5" Skateboard Deck|
|7.75" Truck Axle||7.5" - 8" Skateboard Deck|

|9" Truck Axle||9" - 10" Skateboard Deck|

Truck profile is the distance between the bottom of the deck and the hanger. In general, a medium-sized truck workds well for most skateboarders, but high or low trucks may be better for different styles of skaters.
