We're proud to present YOW's third-generation of surfskate systems, YOW System V.3 S4 and YOW System V.3 S5 (From the outside they seem identical. But they perform differently.)
V.3 S4 uses a 4mm spring, with a lighter feel. It's ideal for surfskaters seeking the sharpest carves and cut-backs they can find, or for surfskaters between 30kg-50kg.
V.3 S5 makes use of a heavier, 5mm spring. It offers an authentic surfing feeling to surfskaters above 50kg.
Both surfskate systems give you the choice of a shorter or longer wheelbase on the same baseplate. Shorter for a new-generation feeling, faster pumping, re-entries and aerials. Or a longer wheelbase for wider, softer turns and more stability at higher speeds.
Each system also offers a locking pin so you can push it hard when you want. That's two boards in one.
The angle of the kingpin and high-quality of engineering in both systems is exactly the same.
HOW TO LOCK THE YOW TRUCKS:
The YOW truck is made for street surfing, However, if you want to block the YOW truck, you only have to add the YOW-locking-screw and tighten it up. By doing this, you are going to get your YOW trucks to behave like a regular cruiser skateboard, if you so desire.
You only need a standard skateboarding tool to set up your YOW system. Every nut and bolt of the YOW system can be tightened up, or loosened with a standard skateboarding tool (Regular T-Tool with nut, kingpin and allen wrenches).
