2 plies of biaxial fibreglass have been layered between 6 plies of Canadian Maple to reduce weigh and increase durability. Also thanks to the properties of the fibreglass, it helps the board retain the flexibility for longer when compared against traditional wood boards.

 

Drop through boards are known to have a lower centre of gravity and all the decks in the Splinter series have this feature which has been implemented to help reduce fatigue and facilitate easier slides.
