Introducing the E-volution of scooting...

The experience of riding the eMicro one scooter is a hybrid one – using the power of the electric motor and your own kick/push power. This means you use a kick motion to start the electric motor. Every time you push or use a kick movement the speed of the scooter’s electric power will increase. Unlike other electric scooters the eMicro does not have a throttle to power the scooter. We think the combination of push power and the motor allows for a more intuitive ride.

The eMicro one scooter must be charged at least once every 3 months to prevent the battery from discharging.

MOTION CONTROL
The motion control sensor is a world first and unique to the emicro. Riders start and control speed through body movement and use the brake to stop. This allows the emicro to be cable free and also reduces battery consumption.
 
FAST CHARGING
The battery of the emicro one is fully charged in one hour. Patented battery management technologies and cell balancing algorithms lead to an excellent battery lifetime of 1000+ charging cycles. 
 
LIGHTWEIGHT
Weighing only 7.5kgs (16lbs) the eMicro one is the most lightweight and compact electric scooter in the world. The use of high quality aluminium results in an ultra-light, ultra strong scooter than can be quickly and easily folded for carrying or storage.
 
3 RIDE PROGRAMMES  
Choose from eco, standard and sport modes. The programmes limit the maximum speed of the support and the maximum power of the motor.
 
REGENERATIVE BRAKING
In addition to physical braking by friction the emicro one also uses regenerative braking. This not only charges the battery but also results in much shorter braking distances. 
 
ASSISTANCE SWITCH
Besides cutting the motor when braking, the brake can be used to switch the electric motor off completely. Tap the brake lever three times in succession and the motion control sensor is deactivated. To reactivate the motion control sensor, tap the brake lever three times again. 
 
CUSTOMISE TAP SPEED SETTINGS
With the setting tool a rider can wirelessly switch between 3 individual pre-programmed speed settings. The setting tool communicates with the on-board computer through magnet induction technology.
 
INTEGRATED HUB MOTOR
Designed in Switzerland, the brushless DC motor is custom-filled inside the back wheel hub. Due to its small size and resultant high rotation speed the motor can produce enormous power of 500 watts and register torque of 4 newton metres.
 
DUAL CORE WHEEL 
The dual core front wheel is a world first in scooters, soft on the inside and hard on the outside. The soft core absorbs shocks much better than normal PU wheel, while the hard outer shell has an extended lifetime compared to traditional rubber wheels.
 
SLOPE SUPPORT
Slope support is a technological feature of the motion control algorithm that ensues high power and torque when riding uphill. The sensors detect a slope and increase power and torque to compensate. 
 
AUTO ON/OFF
Integrated sensors detect the movement of the emicro one and it turns on. After some seconds of inactivity, the eMicro falls automatically in to sleep mode to save energy. 
 
COMMUNICATION DISPLAY 
Four discrete LEDs built into the deck show the speed setting the rider has chosen and how much charge is left.
 

Maintenance

We ask you not to attempt to resolve any technical or mechanical issues you may have with your scooter yourself.

BATTERY LIFE
Please fully charge your emicro one scooter at least once every 3 months.   
The battery itself is contained within a sealed unit in the footplate that must only be opened by an authorised technician.
 
WATER AND THE EMICRO ONE
We would advise not to ride the emicro one scooter in heavy rain and to avoid standing water.  This is to avoid the battery and electrical circuit being damaged.

UK Delivery Options Explained

Below is a breakdown of the delivery options we offer.

  • Royal Mail Tracked 2-3 Day

When ordered before 3pm on this service your order will be dispatched on the same day. This is a tracked service so you can check your delivery is on the way. This would usually be within two days, inclusive of Saturdays. Orders placed after 3pm will be dispatched on the next working day, so If your order is placed after 3pm on a Friday your order will be dispatched on the following Monday. 

  • BFPO
We ship to BFPO (British Forces Post Office) addresses using the Royal Mail Tracked 48 service. There are size and weight limitations when shipping to these addresses. You will not be presented with the Royal Mail shipping option if your order falls outside these parameters. 
This service means that your parcel is only tracked to it's UK BFPO destination. It will receive no tracking from then to its onward destination - wherever this may be in the world. BFPO advise allowing up to 30 days for receipt of the parcel.

  • DPD Next Working Day Delivery

When ordered before 7pm on this service your order will be dispatched on the same day. This is a tracked service so you can check the progress of your package. On the day of delivery you will also receive a text/email notifying you of an estimated one hour delivery window. This service does not include Saturday, Sunday or Bank Holidays. This service is only available for UK Mainland customers.

  • DPD Saturday Delivery

When ordered before 7pm on Friday your order will be dispatched via DPD. This is a tracked service so you can check on the progress of your package. You will also receive a text/email notifying you of dispatch and an estimated hour delivery window. This service is only available for UK Mainland customers.

  • DPD Sunday Delivery

When ordered before 3pm on Saturday your order will be dispatched via DPD. This is a tracked service so you can check on the progress of your package. You will also receive a text/email notifying you of dispatch and an estimated hour delivery window. This service is only available for UK Mainland customers.

  • DPDShip2Shop Pickup delivery

When ordered before 7pm on this service you order will be despatched on the same day. This is a tracked service so you can check the progress of your package. On the day of your delivery you will also receive a text/email notifying you of the delivery has been made to your Ship2Shop location, this is before 12 noon normally, but please don't go to collect your parcel until you have received notification of it's delivery.  For more info, click here

Unfortunately we cannot offer the Ship2Shop service to the following UK Postcodes;

AB31-38, AB41-56, FK17-21, HS1-9, IV1-99, KA27-28, KW, PA20-99, PH15-99, PO30-41, IM1-99, TR21-25, JE1-99, GY1-99, BT1-99.

If you reside within one of the above postcodes your delivery options will automatically be presented when checking out.

The orders will be sent via Interlink/DPD Air and the Prices quoted above is for packages up to 5kg. If your order is over 5kg we may contact you to take extra payment for carriage.

USA Delivery

Deliveries to the USA are NEXT DAY providing they are ordered before 12 Noon (GMT), however on some occasions packages can be held at customs, this can typically take 2-4 days to clear and cannot be prevented, therefore Skate Hut can't be held responsible if this happens.

Items under 2 Kg and of a smaller size typically cost £12 to deliver.

Items of a larger size and weight can be £20 upwards.

Please note that we cannot deliver to PO Boxes in USA with this service.

Pre-orders

To give you the best possible chance of securing your product, you are able to place a pre-order to reserve a new product due to be released in the near future. Doing this will allocate stock to your order. Pre-orders will be fulfilled in the order that they are placed. The quicker your pre-order is placed the earlier your goods will be received.

  • When placing a Pre-order using debit/ credit card payment you will be charged for the full amount of the order being placed. In practice this will normally occur within 2 working days.
  • When placing a Pre-order using Paypal or Amazon Payments the full payment will be sent to us at the time the order is placed.
  • All re-stock dates given have been provided by the UK distributor, however ARE subject to changes beyond our control. In the event a pre-order is delayed we will notify all customers in the unlikely event of any changes as quickly as possible.
  • Please note that if any other products are ordered in conjunction with a pre-order item; unless we are instructed otherwise, these will be held until we can fulfil the whole order. 

Additional Information

All delivery costs are present at the 'My Basket' screen once the shipping destination is chosen, before any money is taken.

* Please be aware with abnormally heavy or Bulky items a Skate Hut representative may contact you before shipment if this transaction cannot be performed. The checkout filters out certain items that can't go out on particular shipping services because of the size of them, e.g. ramps are usually too big to go by a Royal Mail service. In such circumstances the only shipping options available will be displayed on the website, this then may exclude some free shipping options. *

The service is next WORKING day (provided you order before 7pm) and will require someone to sign for the goods. Please note next working day delivery does not include Saturday, Sunday, Bank Holidays, Public Holidays and Substitue days (see the GOV UK website for clarification)

Please note for UK Next Working Day Service if you place an order between 7pm on a Thursday and 3pm on a Sunday your order will be dispatched for delivery on Monday unless Saturday/Sunday delivery option is selected at checkout. Orders placed after 3pm on Sunday will be dispatched on Monday for delivery on Tuesday.

Saturday delivery is available for orders placed before 7pm on Friday as long as Saturday Delivery is selected at checkout.

If you request that the package is left somewhere without a signature, this will only be done at the discretion of the delivery driver. If you do request an item is left without a signature, you assume responsibility for any loss or damage to the package.

Post and Economy orders placed after 3pm will be dispatched on the next working day.

Can't be home for delivery? Don't worry - Skate Hut can ship to any UK address so you can have your order delivered to your place of work, to a friend, a relative or neighbour. Simply enter your preferred delivery address when checking out.

Changing delivery address while your order is in transit - if you decide to change the delivery address after the delivery service was confirmed and the information was entered into the system, a redirection will lead to a different delivery time and therefore, a delayed delivery.  Note that even if the new address is very close to the initial once, the information still has to be changed and the package re-labelled, which can lead to a change in the delivery date as well.  In such cases, it would usually be quicker for the delivery to fail then pick up the order from the local DPD depot in the evening of the due date.
