Take the scooting world by storm with the Classic Street 120 range from JD Bug!

With its foldable, lightweight design, the Classic Street is the perfect scooter for children aged 4+ who are looking for a fun and quick way to get around.

Due to its ergonomical design, with the lowest riding height being 640mm (25") and a maximum height of 870mm (37"), combined with a sturdy 100mm (4") wide footplate, the JD Bug Classic 120 Series scooter is the perfect size for growing children and adults up to a maximum weight of 100kg.

Finished of with its tried and tested folding mechanism, this new, initiative design is cleverly concealed within the body of the scooter to ensure small fingers cannot get caught and is operated by a single lever to fold and unfold. Resulting in the scooter being able to fold down to approximately 220mm (8.5") by 620mm (24"), its compact size means that it is much easier to carry around and store away should the need arise. As well as folding down to a nice compact size, the JD Bug Classic Street 120 Series weighs a very modest 2.7kg making it one of the lightest folding scooters out there.

Light but sturdy scooter.

I was trying out the idea of using a scooter as a cross between an standing-up wheelchair and a wheeled walking stick to help me get about when I got severe arthritis in one hip and I have been delighted by how well it works. It folds up easily into quite a small space and is light to carry (though having extended the steering column to full length I can't now get it back down again - this hasn't in practice been a problem). Since I'm using it with one foot always available to put on the ground, rather than as a skateboard, I feel perfectly safe and in control, even among other people, and I can even carry a small shopping bag over the handlebars. It has got me out of the house when I wouldn't otherwise have been able to get to and from the bus stop or car park, so I'm thrilled. A few caveats though: 1) I am 5' 2" and am comfortable with the steering column at its full length - anybody taller than me would need an adult scooter, probably with wider handlebars, too. 2) My town centre is very flat and I'm not sure how useful it would be anywhere hillier 3) There are obviously limitations on what you can carry - Wetherspoon's didn't mind me using it to go up to the bar (works fine on carpet) but I had to get someone to carry my coffee back to my table and I can't collect my own pizza either

Really light, fast scooter. Purchased for my giant 6 year old so the extendable handles are ideal. Also easy folding so handy for storage. Red design is cool without being garish.

Nice colour scooter and functions well. The metal clasp which you use for height adjusting does seem to loosen after use and needs tightening. It's folding mechanism is a bit stiff for a teen but works which is the main thing. Smooth ride, simple and effective brake.
