A no compromise pop monster! Firstly, this deck looks the business. 7-ply, top ply is yellow, middle ply is stained red (although this red fades pretty quickly). The design is bold and contrasty. The board is symmetrical except for the position of the (new-school) mounting holes. The kicks are both 5" long at a steep 20 degrees, and the wheelbase is 14 1/4" on a shortish 31 1/2" length, so the pop angle is very steep, giving this deck such a huge pop. The nose and tail both have the same medium blunt curvature. The nose is 7" and the tail is 6 3/4". The concave is medium and of constant radius. The lack of flat deck between the bolts and pocket might be an issue for nose/tail slides (I'm not a good enough skater to know, sorry), but the pocket is wide (as in, the transition from flat to kick is gentle) which might help a bit. I am used to riding with my back foot in the tail pocket, but with this deck I feel I have to ride with my back foot on the bottom of the tail; this isn't really a problem though. A good deck that flatters my usually sucky ollies.
