Dancing On Ice is back for 2010

It is time to dig out your ice skates and favorite sparkly leotards in time to watch your favorite celebs take to the ice and learn some new tricks. The line up has been released for the next series of Dancing on Ice. With a new judge and a fresh sprinkling of famous faces this series promises to feature some of the best entertainment if not skating we have seen so far.

Always the subject of controversy this season’s competitors are no different. The celebrity line up includes Danniella Westbrook and Heather Mills. As usual the show sends out the positive message that anyone and everyone can try their hand at ice skating with the correct support and guidance. As the first ever disabled competitor on the show, Heather Mills shows that with a positive attitude anything is possible.

Skating enthusiasts can enjoy the painstaking journey of some our favorite onscreen stars as they try their hand at ice skating. Come back soon for more celebrity ice skating antics and the latest ice skating news from Skate Hut.

Skateboard Sizes

We try and keep our skateboard size advice very simple:

For kids under 12-14 year we recommend a 27”-28” board, often described as a “mini”. Anyone over 14 years should go for a full-size board which are 31” or longer. Don’t forget helmet and pads how ever old the rider is!

If you have any questions about this or need any advice about skateboards please feel free to call us on 0121 501 1111.
